February Service Project – Transplant House of Cleveland

February 22, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
  • « January Service Project- crafts with seniors
  • The Caring Mail Project – Spreading Cheer to Seniors »

For our February gathering, we supported The Transplant House of Cleveland.  Located in University Circle, heart of all the wonderful medical facilities Cleveland has to offer, The Transplant House is able to provide convenient, affordable apartments to patients on their journey of receiving or donating a life-saving organ.

Our Cubs painted coffee mugs with cheerful, encouraging words and pictures for the patients to wake up to each day.  The Cubs also made seasonal decorations to hang in and around each apartment.  We decorated 25 mugs, made 19 worry dolls and 25 worry doll poems, 25 wood dried flower coasters and decorated 24 gift bags!
