January Service Project- crafts with seniors

January 2020 Flower Power: Our Caring Cubs brought rays of sunshine to residents of the Weils at an event co-hosted with NCJW. Children and residents painted 24 pots and then planted lavender seeds in each for the residents to keep! We colored, played “Would you Rather” and read a story. Thank you to all of those that attended! It was such a bright spot on a January day!
The Weils, a non-profit organization, is owned and operated by Montefiore, a leader in senior healthcare. In addition to their assisted living facility, their newly expanded campus offers a full scope of healthcare services to seniors and now includes a memory care wing and a rehab therapy pavilion, allowing them to offer a wide variety of services to the community and their residents.
