Spreading Kindness & Warmth: An In-Person Service Project

Join Caring Cubs for a morning of caring for our community by supporting Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank and Medworks.  We will have multiple stations with projects to benefit each organization.

The mission of theCleveland Kids Book Bank is to foster literacy and a love of reading by distributing free books to children in need through collaboration with community partners. We will be supporting them by collecting new and gently used kids book and making bookmarks to accompany them.

Medworks‘ mission is to provide a collaborative portal for every patient who needs quality healthcare and access to permanent medical homes in Northeast Ohio. We will be supporting them by making fleece scarves (with gift tags!) for patients and notes of cheer through our spring Caring Mail project (mail-in as planned or drop-off at the in-person project!).

The project will kick-off with a book about helpfulness. Staff from Medworks will join us to talk about their work.

We will have plenty of stations for famililes to maintain social distance while volunteering together.

Masks are required for participants ages 24+ months, will be offered as needed.
