August 9 – Be My Neighbor Day

Caring Cubs will join ideastream and other community partners for this fun-filled day that focuses on what it means to be a neighbor. Families with young children are invited to this free, public event that encourages literacy and neighborliness. Caring Cubs will host drop-in volunteer activities that include:
– Making bookmarks and literacy gift bags for hospitalized children
– Making bookmarks and literacy gift bags for children obtaining their first library cards
– Decorate gratitude banners for Cleveland’s first responders.
