An Eco Adventure: Keeping Our Planet Clean

August 8 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

For many of us, sheltering at home has made us extra thankful for the parks, lakes, and green spaces in our communities. That’s why our August project is all about taking care of our precious planet!
This clean-up project will happen in-person with a companion virtual option at a location of your choice, volunteering at the same time as other Cubs throughout our community.
Registrants for the virtual project will receive a Zoom link to join the virtual meet-up at 9:30am.
Prior to meeting at CanalWay Center or participating in your own neighborhood, we ask each volunteer to provide their own:
  • Trash bags or buckets
  • Work gloves to protect hands
  • Water bottles
  • Sunscreen
Caring Cubs will provide extra bags and gloves as needed.
Masks are required for participants ages 24+ months, will be offered as needed.
Our Policy About COVID Safety
With what we hope will be the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic behind us, please know that Caring Cubs remains committed to creating a safe environment for all involved and has introduced enhanced safety precautions. Out of consideration for vulnerable community members and those not yet eligible to receive the vaccine, Caring Cubs requires masks and social distancing for all participants aged 24 months and up at all in-person and drive-through service projects. Any participants who arrive without masks may be offered masks and/or may be asked to leave. If you, or anyone in your group, feels unwell we ask that you please do not attend any Caring Cubs service projects.
